i observed all my list of food in the refrigerator is lost when close/open the program.

I supposed is correct, but perhaps is possible mantain the list between uses of the program. In this way I can use remaining food in my refrigerator many times.

That's actually a very good point. I only ever intended one or two items to be put on the 'In the fridge' list. The idea wasn't to store your fridge contents (in the same way you wouldn't want the search to remember when you'd typed).

However, using it as you are would actually be really useful as long as you uncheck the 'Search while typing box'. In 1.60, I'm going to change the behaviour to store the contents during save close. Thanks for this suggestion/bug report.
