Printing options

I see the option the print the shopping list.

I would like :

1) option to print a recipe , and a meal (lunch, dinner, ...)

2) option to print a week menu from sunday to saturday or monday to sundayl.

Something similar to this :

I've added the first feature (printing recipes with meal plans) in version 1.60, the second request might be in the next release.

BTW, it's great when people request features but donations are always appreciated.

I'm not sure if it's just my printer, but when I print a recipe, a margin isn't left on the left hand side of the paper, or on the right hand side. This means that when I use a hole punch so that I can later file the page in a folder of recipes, the holes take out some of the words in the text, on both sides of the paper. I know this is more of an online recipe database, but I like hard copies too.
It's a really neat database though!

ChickenPing 1.70 adds the option to print a plan for a range of dates.

I was interested in being able to format the page so that the left and right margins were increased - and so a hole punch wouldn't remove text - rather than printing for a range of dates.

What I would really like to see is a way to print on 4x6 or 5x7 index cards and a way to print two copies on an 8.5x11 sheet one above the other so I can cut them in half and have two copies. I am always wasting a bunch of paper as my recipes rarely take up more than half a sheet.

What about allowing user customizable printing options using CSS?

Also, a way to export the recipes to an HTML, OpenDoc and/or PDF file would be very helpful.
