Nokia E52 login problem

I've loaded version 1.25 onto my Nokia E52 and added a database to the root of the card directory. On starting the program I am asked per the password so I believe the program has found the database, but it will not recognize my password and I can make no progress past this point. Any suggestions?

What version of LockCrypt are you using?

I can't gain access to the program to check this but from memory it was version 1.25 . However the downloaded zip file was lockcrypt-mobile_1.3.zip.

The latest legacy version is 2.31 so it might be worth a try with that. Unfortunately I doubt it will work though.

Same thing happens with the Nokia E72.

A XML database exported from the latest Windows version will always return "wrong password". Unfortunately the program cannot be used.

LockCrypt J2ME doesn't use XML, it uses a proprietary database format. It's a shame no-one's adopted that particular part of the source tree.
