XML Export/Import problem [PC]

Hello Harry,

It is me again! I installed LockCrypt 1.82. This time I read your Readme file and followed your installation instractions After the .XML file was imported, I noticed that the names of each field that were in Greek, had changed so that each character of the name had been reblaced with its "spelling" name.

I attach an example screen. I have overtyped in red letters what it should have been written (Αριθμ Λογαρ) instead. The correspondance of the actual Greek characters with their "spelling" is is as follow:

Α -> Alpha
ρ -> rho
ι -> iota
θ -> theta
μ -> mu
Λ -> Lambda
ο -> omicron
γ -> gamma
α -> alpha
ρ -> rho

Please advise.

I made a test of the .XML export/Inport routine and noticed that only the name of a field changes when it is in Greek. Its character content remains Greek. Please see attached Test screen. The issue of the double accounts after importing still remains.

Thanks for letting me know, this looks like it will take some tweaking to fix. I'll start work on it when I have some time, but it might take a few weeks.

Fixed in LockCrypt 1.8.4.

If you have an an existing file, the field name's have already been exported, so they won't import correctly but for XML files exported after v1.8.4, the bug is fixed.

AS soon as I returned from a trip, I found your "Present": LockCrypt 1.85! Indeed all UTF8 characters are encoded properly .

After importing the .XML file, account "Natwest Current" appears twice (overmarked "Double Account" with red characters in the attachment). The second instance can not be dislayed until the first one is deleted.

These happen both in the test DB I have created and my real one.

Yeah that happens sometimes with the demo accounts, but you're not really supposed to keep those anyway, they're just there to give you something to practice editing/dragging. You might as well delete them once you start adding accounts.

I am really sorry, but it happens to other Accounds as well. Please see attatcment. I am sorry I am a pain in the neck, byt I consider LockCrypt as being a perfect program and as such, should not have minor issues.

This should be fixed in version 1.90.

I just upgrated to version 1.90. No double Accounts nor any other slip-up: LockCrypt is a perfect program. Bravo. Your immediate response to user requests is also to be commented. Thank you for such a usefull program, thank you for all your help.
